Civ4 starts no longer

I had Civ4 with 1.61 patch on my PC, it worked fine but I have needed to reinstall the game.
I started the game before patching, it worked; then I have installed the 1.61 patch and the game has no longer started:
If I double-click the icon, the "Loading" mask appears, the CD starts turning, then it stops and nothing happens..
If I auto-play from CD drive, the "Play/ReadMe/Exit" mask appears, the CD starts turning, then it stops and nothing happens..

Custom and mod files and folders accurately erased after unistalling before reinstalling, reinstalled in the same folder's path, reinstalled same patch (as said)..

I have tried to enable logging system but it doesn't work: after running the game (and failing) the log files aren't generated!!!

here are my settings in CivilizationIV.ini:

Re-uninstalled the game, registry cleaned, re-re-installed the game and the patch.. now it works..

sorry for annoying you...
