Hi, i gave civ5 a shot when i was just released but at that time i felt that civ4 with mods was better.
So my question is, is it now improved and as good as it "should have been" ?

Also, what mods would u recommend ? loved RoM, RoM-a new dawn to civ4

I have a feeling that with the proper mods this game is now awesome!!!

You might have to list what your "deal-breakers" were in order for people to give you the answer you're looking for, I think.

In general, one way Civ V is "more like" IV is that religion was added. But it's very different. IMO much better in Civ V because you can customize your religion, including the name AND abilities you get from it!

Ok, to specify what i am into abit more.
I prefer to start in the ancient era, like 6000BC.
I always play the very large maps on marathon/snail(call it what u want but i like it slow and detailed).
When i come to think of it i think i enjoy the "buildup" the most.
In fact my game rarely last into the 1900.

By deal-breakers, I meant what were the reasons you stopped playing Civ V? Then some people can tell you how that's changed and you can decide if you'll like it.

To be honest i can´t really remember, i just remember civ4-RoM being was more detailed thatn civ5 when it was released so i never gave civ5 i chance.

Guess it´s time for that now, need something "new".
