So yesterday I load up Civ on my new machine (less than a month old - i7-3770 with a GTX 560) It has been working perfectly since I got the new puter.
The game runs like crap. The mouse is sluggish, the next turn ON THE FIRST TURN takes like a minute, when I move my warrior there is a noticeable lag. Something is not right.
Any ideas what it could be. The machine works fine otherwise - I ran a stress test and no problems. I deleted and reloaded the local content. Checked the cache, ran a virus check. I am lost. is there some diagnostic I can run.
