CivCheck run on v19

I just ran CivCheck on my copy of Caveman2Cosmos with all the FPK files expanded out. It does not seem to be finding some of Hydro's stuff but then maybe it is missing in some way.

The results are in the attached file.

I am not sure I have run it correctly and found all the problems.

Anyway I am posting for the team to have a look at. I am heading off tomorrow and should be back by the New Year.
 
Removing everything that is in modules (eg Trench Warfare) or C2C specific (eg UNITAI_HUNTER) leaves.

Can you post your Config file here pls (the one thats in the CivCheck), so i can paste it to my CivCheck, for some reason mine does NOT work, thx. (That way i can compare, thx)


btw anything that says Shader, you dont have to worry about.
And the ArtDefines ones (ie: ART_DEF_UNIT_BANDEIRANTE) are there only because the art folder, is named something else and doesn't match is all. (in most cases)

I dont have any of the new terrain stuff, so i cant place the correct ones there, who ever did those need to place them in the correct file, ie: DuneGrassland.dds/barren etc etc
 
With the latest both the lion unit and jungle terrain don't look the same as before. To me this suggests that there may be more problems that we need to investigate. I have not looked at the CivChecker options but Orion Veteran said he found some problems with BtS, Warlord and Vanilla graphics using it.

OK, i have changed almost ALL of the animals units to a finer looking more detailed version, thats probably were that comes from. But i didnt do anything in the terrain area? But i changed some of the improvements ie farm etc to a more detailed one again.

The Elephant has finer looking details also, as do most of them.

Also if you look in the "dog" unit, there are two different looking ones there also. Same as for the Dromadaire.

Lion and Puma attached. Improvements, ie Farms and Forts.
 
If you are looking for better looking lions and tiger (and all other default animals) there are ones in zoo tycoon 2 i can convert. The down side is they are not animated.

Also that's a tiger not a puma in your picture. A Puma looks like the one in my picture on the bottom row middle column.

That is what happens when you get old, your fingers don't necessarily type what your mind tell them to.:mischief:

The "missing" terrain buttons are in a different folder so I changed the terrain infos XML file rather than move the buttons. Faster to upload etc.

Ever since these new graphics have come in I get the message to lower my graphics settings. Guess my machine can't handle your "finer looking" animals. :(

I guess i will have to look into that then, because they are of a high contrast and way better design features involved.:mischief:
