So, founded Westeros today...

But it seems to only register for a monument I built on top of the hill. Is it measured by consecutive placed blocks?

And how are residents added?

/city add residentName (they must be online)

/city claim (claims chunks, to expand your city walk out to where it just says wilderness then use this command)

Spout seems quite laggy, even with the lowest settings -

It'll start out at 30-50fps, then go down.

I can do nothing about it. I only have control over the server, not the client.

Found one of the sheep in my pigpen, so I doubled up the walls of the sheep pen. I also used Cobble to make it a little prettier. Also found a couple other sheep about the town, and tried getting them back in the pen.

I've been posting on the Spout forum about the issue. Not much help as of yet. (Only suggestion was to lower the video settings, which I did and it still locked up)

FYI Spout is a server side plugin. Spoutcraft is the custom client mod.

Skwink, that wood pillar in your pig pen is...err...a gift from your king! Yes. A gift that helped him escape from your pigpen after falling in while adding chunks to Barleyridge.

Also, Croxis: it seems me and Phillb's techs aren't progressing since they joined. Also, a more robust list of the / commands would be nice.

So Canuckbacon decided to disband our nation just before we could research Masonry, and now we don't have enough money to create a civ. Plus, I was hoping to collect that iron, and not have to wait another hour now to research Masonry. Oh well.... (not happy right now, actually.. just wasted an hour thsnks to Canuck disbanding just before we discovered Masonry, and I'm not about to waste another hour when it's already midnight and I have to work tomorrow.) Then he gets himself killed by an enderman and loses everything.

EDIT: I also don't have permission to use /money, and I don't know how to get enough money to create a nation... I guess joining a nation uses up money?

Ok, I've set up shop at the village. DrMo, please read the signposts by the well before doing anything. Also, the starting point for the civ will be between those two torches for a reason (I may build a palace there later).

I guess we're neighbors, Croxis. The gray blotch north of spawn is my castle I'm working on

The ground south of it, with the door open, is a diving board to jump straight into the water. There must be a hundred sheep, and about 12 open caverns.

I'll come visit the island village sometime later tonight. Anybody who wants wool or iron, lemme know.

Why does the dynamic map keep refreshing? Also, I can't zoom in without it refreshing back to normal zoom.

It will refresh if the server is starting/stopping.
