Right away I'd like to say I did see a post about this topic, but the solution didn't work for me- I installed the font, it didn't work, so I tried deleting some unwanted fonts, but it didn't allow me to, because it was a "windows protected font." So I downloaded Civ 3, and I run it for the first time, and I get this error. I've already tried changing compatibility settings, and installing the font, nothing has worked for me so far. I've already tried to find solutions, but I've tried lots of things and none of it works. If anybody could help me, that would be great.
