Civilization 4 Cheats?

is this possible that having cheat menu like Civ 2?

The farthest you'll go with Cheats is Worldbuilder...but its not hardcore cheating, just used to make maps for scenarios.

Anyways, cheating is wrong. blah, blah, blah..

You have world builder which, IIRC, is similar to Civ2. After that you also have the game console, to activiate it go to civ4.ini and change "cheat code = 0" to "cheat code = chiptole" and then press ` in game to open it up. The console is rather hard to use though and is meant more for debugging than for straight forward cheating.

Why would you want a cheat menu anyway? Isn't there enough variables
in the game already, esp. in custom games:?

Oh its chipotle not chptole Lord Olleus.

Simply press Crtl + W to open up worldbuilder in game and modify to your hearts content. I do it too many times.

There's no cheat menu ... and why would you need one? It's more a game of strategy than winning - savour the game. It doesn't matter whether you win or not - but if you really want to cheat - Ctrl-W awaaaay!!!
