My big question is: does civ attributes in Civ1 determine its starting tech chances like Civ2?That's why I published the proven facts in my exploration and translation of original CIV1 code.
In Civ2, tests show that a Militaristic civ is more likely to start with military techs, and only Neutral civs have a slim chance to start with Map Making.
In general, how far are you from decoding the algorithm that determines starting bonuses (Settlers, techs)?
