I've yet to try wether all quarters can be navigated, it would be nice if you could bridge it with 3 of them starting from the tile above the volcano?

They cannot. That would be completely busted, it's not that difficult to build a 'bridge' of quarters across an entire continent.

I know it's probably a visual bug, but having Maximilien Robespierre just as a floating head is... quite fitting, for the guy. Didn't know he continued spreading the reign of Terror after meeting Madame Guillotine.

I, uh, whoops...
Turns out if you have 2 Commanders on the same tile, both with empty slots, you can infinitely reinforce.
Question is...what will happen to the units? More at 11.

Turns out any that don't fit spawn on the tile, not packed in the army:

You only need one commander for that. So long as a commander isn't filled completely, you can send as many reinforcements as you want. If the commander has his slots full, the unit just spawns on their tile instead.

Damn, they really went all out on the graphisms, they even put the stitches on the leopard skin to show where it was reassembled... Same with the sails, you can see where it is sewn to reinfoce it near the mast...

Another reason why the game needs a Civ VII version of the Rosetta Stone mod . . .
I wonder if this friendly situation with Napoleon is sustainable, might get a little dicey in the next session... (he actually got down to the last 10 hitpoints there against a barbarian galley before he managed to smuggle an archer in - so frustrating)
Also got a pretty ideal start - Carthage on a nagivable river with Hatshepsut - and the cothon in the bay! (And the first time I got some many islands with Fractal)

Wow, you don't take Bastion promotions? I really like the first one, which gives bonus to all units on defense.

I did end up taking them on some of my later commanders, but I’m too aggressive to make good use of the fortification bonuses. I ended up going wayyyyyy over the settlement cap that game…
