Civs/Leaders strategies and tips help?

Can you guys point me in the right direction... I am playing a game as Cardith Lorda and this civ can only build 4 cities and the rest are settlements. So I am looking for tips or is there a way to add more real cities? And in general, is there a place that gives advice on how to play the different leaders?

Check out the strategy forum under this one (and no, there is no way to add more real cities to Cardith, he has a max limit based on the map size).

oh thanks, I see that now. Also why I see you are on here, what is that little number within the star on the main screen? I notice sometimes it is 0 then other times it's at 1...

You are probably looking at the armagedon counter, which can go up and down between 0-100.

Certain events are triggered when the armageddon counter goes up. Check Kolath's link to the FfH Wiki, it got a lot of info about FfH. There is also a thread about the Armageddon Counter in the strategy subforum, check here.

It talks about how to handle the Counter, what the advantages of making it go up is, and what civs that have a reason for making it go up.

It also talks about what events are triggered by the Counter. (In one of the posts)
