I´ve a problem with both programs. I tried to use them under Win7 (64bit) and they don´t work. I changed the compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 3 but they don´t still work.

Does anyone have any solution for this problem?
It would be very great :)

Thanks, unfortunatelly it doesn´t work on my computer.

But I´ve a notebook with win7 (32bit) installed and the programs running on this system.

Stumbled across this thread (Google seems to prioritize it in search results for these apps) so I figured I'd post this here for any lurkers.

You've reminded me that I needed to add Carl's CivCity and CivTweak to the modern downloads area so I've done that now. I've also added notes about the problem with this being an old 16bit application that will not work on modern 64bit operating systems unless you use either a Virtual Machine or WineVDM. And I've added links to a webarchive copy of Carl's old website for them. :)

It’s a shame these two excellent tools were never updated to work on 64 bit machines. It certainly would have made some of the work on my projects easier.:)

Just making sure people are aware of Civitas by TheNamelessOne which has most of the features from these two older apps:

Used to drive me nuts having to move savegames into a VM to edit them however these days I have WineVDM set to always on so I can run them anywhere on my main OS whenever I want.

Ah yes I forgot about that, although it's only for ToT users as it's not compatible with MGE savegames. And it yeah it doesn't have everything as it more so mimics CivCity than CivTweak. I've edited the CivCity description note to mention that ToT users may wish to use Civitas instead. :)

Yes, I've had the opportunity to use the Civitas tool on mulitple occasions and found it both convenient and well made. But it hasn't been around for as long as the other two, so prior to its introduction you had to resort to other methods, and as Blake00 indicated it doesn't cover all the same features as the other two (though at the time TNO mentioned it was to be an ongoing project to which he would be adding more capabilities to it in the future).
