Civup v2.3, Gem v1.12 - Ranged Animation bug

I have seen this twice now, I'm not sure if this is a true bug but thought I would post just in case.

Was playing as England and when my archers fired upon a barbarian chariot archer the animation is missing. It just skips to the damage. The same occured when my first boat fire upon them also. (Sorry could not remember the name of which boat, new to the game)

I using both civup, Gem and the TSL gaint map pack.

Chariot archers are in a separate unit class from vanilla units (mounted archer). The consequence of this is that there are no animations for the unit class but it provides some game benefits for sorting out promotions and providing unit-bonuses (eg chariots don't get penalized against spears).

Thanks for bringing this up. I'm going to ask again on the modding forum if anyone knows how to associate attack animations with new combat classes. Someone might have discovered a way to do this since I last investigated a few years ago.
