Here are two CivWin screenshots I just took, nothing fancy, I just went in and took them. So no big wars or anything. Here:

civ1 dos looks better.

I would do screenshots, but at the moment I have no way to put them on an internet connected computer (it's weird how few computers have floppy drives these days!)

civ1 dos looks better.

Though Civ1 in Dos does not agree with Windows XP (Unless you use DosBox)
