Clash of Civilizations

Hello,

Thanks for the modmod addons. It looks very interesting so I downloaded and installed it. Everything seems to go smoothly (Windows Vista, Program Files(x86) installation) and the setup.exe finished without reporting any error. BTW, I have the latest ROM downloaded a few weeks ago but nothing else (i.e. AND and NWA)
I then changed the .xml file as instructed.
Then I loaded the ROM mod after starting BtS but I see nothing new.

What should I check for to verify if my installation of this addon succeeds ?
What should I do to see the changes in the game after a successful installation ?

no problem was a pleasure to help. In terms of this mod being updated to any new versions of AND or RoM, unfortunately since civ5 is out im at the moment working on this similair concept made here for civ iv

Congratz on the marriage, BTW. It's also good to know that you're busy on Civ V mod and not kidnapped away from us by your wife :lol:

I'm waiting to see what the mod community can do on Civ V. It's the main reason why I looked around for more Civ IV mods to play for the next few years until Civ VI comes out

UPDATE TO THE MOD FOR CIV V:
Hey guys it been long since I did anything to this, unfortunately I do not think I will be able to update this mod for CIV IV much longer, (work and business taking much of my time)

I have however managed to create something on Civilization V. Where basically I took the same concept of incorporating all powers of our modern world into Civilziation V, by either reworking the existing civilizations or by adding more city states. In the future I will create more civilizations but I am waiting to learn how to create proper 3D Leaderheads for CIV V. In terms of Units etc. I have not built any but I have managed to find the most suitable mods to my concept and I will list them here.

So, I installed CoC on my computer exactly as instructed, and with all required parameters - ROM and AND both installed, copied line of code into the modular loading file, ran woc, all of that. When I start CIV4 BTS ROM, during the loading screen when it says 'loading XML files', I get numerous errors, reading thus:

"Tag: _(unitclass/buildingclass/unit_EXAMPLE)_ in info class was incorrect. Current xml file is modules\(EXAMPLE FILEPATH).xml."

I made a notepad text file detailing the items with info class errors. After clicking "OK' with all the notifications, CIV finishes loading and allows me to see the main menu of ROM-AND; the game shows all the custom civs and leaders of CoC as it should. However, when I open Sevopedia, it shows only a few (literally ten or eleven) units in the 'Units' category. I haven't started a game yet, but I don't get the impression it'll work. Any suggestions?

Here is a copy of the .txt file. Areas where multiple instances of the same filepath are listed are where I got multiple errors for that filepath.
