Thebes, Egypt
Egypt welcomes you, your Highness, says Cleopatra as Czarina Catherine is brought in to her chambers.
Thank you, your Majesty. My people appreciate your hospitality, replies Catherine
Anything you need, it is yours. Now, on to less pleasant business. My Generals in Northern Germany are planning another offensive and plans are underway for an invasion of Azteca and America. We would like to send General Stalin and his Royal Dragoons on one of those expeditions, with your permission of course.
Granted, anything to end these pointless conflicts and to return our lands to us.

General Stalin and his Royal Dragoons ship out from Thebes to the staging are for the fleets sailing to the continent of Ameriteca. Stalins men are not happy about leaving their Czarina to the protection of the Egyptian Guards but duty prevails. Their Czarina says go and fight for Mother Russia, so that is what they must do.

Bremmen, German Occupied Territories of Egypt
General Khufu is sorry to hear of the fall of Russia. He feels that he has failed in his duties. Despite the military victories throughout the north under his command, and that of General Thrawn, Germany was still able to marshal enough forces to defeat Russia. What is worse, Germany has now secured a source of iron, the battle for Nuenburg was for naught.
With General Thrawn firmly entrenched Berlin and its surrounding fields, Khufu decided to punch through to the Western Ocean. This means that the newly established German Capital of Bonn will soon meet Egyptian fury. New recruits arrive from Egypt and the rawest of the bunch are left to defend the new acquisition to the Egyptian Empire. Khufu and his Regiments of Dragoons march towards the waiting German Guns.

Bonn, Germany
That is an interesting proposal, Chancellor, says Richard. What makes you think that I will agree?
Simple, replies Bismark. Right now you are nothing. A fragment of a once proud nation. With me you can have your thrown back.
Why would you give me my throne. You are the one who took it away.
No, Richard, snaps Bismark. Your mother took it away when she ended our treaty and signed that agreement with Egypt. Your mother is responsible for the suffering in London and you can ease it by agreeing to my terms. Perhaps you need more time to think my offer through. Bismark turns to his guards. Take him to his quarters to think.
As the guards lead King Richard out of the Bismarks Office, a military officer rushes in. Sir. Egyptian forces have been sighted marching in our direction.
What do they have?
Reports vary at the moment sire, but it is anywhere between 15-20 Regiments of Dragoons plus countless Regiments on Foot.
What do we have in Berlin?
About 4 Regiments of the old Crusaders, 5 of our new Musket Regiments and 5 Dragoons. We also can call in other Regiments from other areas sir.
Send word that Bonn is under siege. Bring out the guns and start firing as soon as the Egyptian forces get in range. No, strike that. Start firing before.
Yes, Sir.
---
The Egyptian advance stops as the Guns of Bonn open fire. They are well out of range but their effects can be found in the mens morale. The Egyptian forces have never before attacked a city under the guns of the enemy. There is always a first for everything.
As suddenly as they started, the German Guns stop and the Egyptian march continues. The front ranks of the column stop and begin firing as 4 Regiments of elite German Crusaders attack the lines. The Egyptians fall back but the lines do not break and eventually the Germans are forced to retreat. As they fall back, Khufu releases his Dragoons who charge into the ranks of the diminished Crusaders. The Egyptians take the day as Bonn has just lost 4 Elite Regiments with minimal Egyptian losses. Khufu learned from the mistakes of Paneb at London and his own mentor, Ramses. Always march with the Regiments of Foot.
Over the next several days, the Egyptians lay siege to the German Capital. The death toll continues to mount as Egyptians die in their repeated attacks and Germans fall from their highly defendable positions. The port of Bonn is busy bring in much needed materials to assist in defense. The Egyptian Navy has a strong influence in almost every Ocean of the world, and this is not one of them. An Egyptian Squadron from Dover sets sail up the coast but it will be days before they reach station. By then, the battle should be over.
The Egyptian supply lines, stemming from Bremen are vulnerable to German counterattacks, but no moves are made. These lines continue to strengthen Khufus forces until the day comes when the breakthrough occurs. Khufu himself leads a Regiment in through the breech as the fighting moves to hand-to-hand and building-to-building. German officials begin to flee from the city, those that had not already done so, that is. One of those officials is Bismark himself. As he approaches the docks where his private Brig is ready to set sail, he is cut off and cornered by Khufu and his guards. Bismark refuses to flee and instead, pulls out his sabre, challenging the Egyptian officer. Khufu dismounts and pulls his own sword.
The two men approach each other, ready to fight. Bismark prides himself on being the best swordsman in Germany and be default, the world. Bismark moves forward and begins a series of movements that would easily defeat an uneducated buffoon from Egypt. Khufu, on the other hand, is not an experience fencer. In fact, the only thing he knows about his sword is that the point is supposed to go into the other person. The one think that he has going for him is youth and strength. Most men in his command believe that Khufu could win the Army wrestling matches, if we entered.
The two men continue to circle each other as the city burns. For the most part, the battle is over. Most of the German military has either surrendered or fled. But still the two men face off, neither accepting that the battle is over until one of them lay dead in the street. Bismarks trusts and parries continue to knick at Khufu who has been cut numerous of times without drawing blood of his own. But Bismark is tiring while Khufu is barely sweating. The strength and stamina of the younger man slowly tips the balance and in a serious of powerful strokes, Bismark is left on one knee broken sword in his hand and an Egyptian sword ready for the death stroke. Bismark, finally admits defeat and surrenders.
As the two combatants, and Egyptian guards enter the street, sporadic fire can still be heard. Suddenly, a loud shot is heard and Bismark falls clutching his chest. Khufus men react like the trained professionals they are and turn to fire but the shooter has his gun down and arms arm. Richard II approaches Khufu and is put under guard for escort back to Thebes.
Germany is now cut into three pieces.

East of Marathon, Greece
General Daggerious, known affectionately by his men as The Dagger of Egypt or just Dagger marches into Greece. Greeces Government has stabilized since the assassination years ago and peace was made with China and India. It is now time to force peace with Egypt as well and end the conflict on the home continent. (China and Greece have also reached terms.) To accomplish this, Dagger has been given the task of training the new Calvary units against the Greek city of Thessalonica.
Dagger knows the Greece is no Germany, although they still are a powerful empire, despite being weakened by war, both internally and externally. His march was quick and only mounted units, thus his Musket Regiments are slowly coming either by sea or Indias road system. Greece, thinking that any Egyptian attack will come via the sea, are unprepared for Daggers forces.
Calvary and Dragoon regiments attack Thessalonicas Musket Regiments but the city still falls quickly. Soon after Dagger moves his HQ into the town hall, a Greek Emissary arrives under a flag of truce. Greece wants to talk peace and word is sent back to Thebes.

So Bismark is dead. Who is in charge now and can we come to peace? asks Cleopatra.
We are working on that your Highness.
What are Greeces terms?
The agree to let us keep Thessalonica and have agreed to pay up reparations and a pledge of more during the length of the treaty.
Accepted. Send word to Paris. Let us combine are efforts against our common foe, America.
--------
Thus ends the melee on the Grand Continent. China makes no gains. India gains the city of Marathon, while Greece loses that city, Thessalonica and Miletos. (Somehow, Greece has moved ahead of India in the histrograph)
War still continues between Egypt/India and Germany; Egypt and America; and Egypt and Aztec; Aztec and America. France has also signed a military agreement with Aztec against America.
A Peace offer is coming from Germany soon and the Egyptian fleets set sail towards America and Azteca.
I will post an updated map of the world once my new cd arrives and I get back into town.
