First move can seal a defeat or cause a victory. There is a myth out there that host always gets to move his units first. I dont think its true, since I loose out on some moves. Anyone knows what that depends on (besides not blinking -waiting for new turn to begin)?

I'm pretty sure it is simply nothing more than who can process and transmit the move data first, so people with fast CPU and low ping internet are going to win most often.

I can do double moves before end turn, but not after. After ending turn, i just can't do anything more.

Double move is when you give a pre order to move to a tile before end turn, and turn after you can move again. Maybe confusing when i say double move after turn, but in reality its a command you give before ending turn. The unit can move twice after ending turn by doing that. I think is what automove tommy says.

Combo of processing and ping time. Processing can win out if ping time is small or someone has a slow computer.

Double-moving is a serious issue in MP. Double moving is not strategy.

It may not be a strategy, but it is a defacto tactic, and there is no way to remove it, until they code Civ4's 8 sec timer, and even in Civ3 players just learn to use it. I know it tends to be contienous but in semi-competitive MP, no one generally complains about it because in the end it pretty much works for you as much as against you, and the general concensus is that it is just part of the mechanics.

actually the automoves u can comand after ending turns are the ones to be done 1. - no matter who is host and how fast pcs and con are.

I think you are thinking of Civ4 tommy, Civ5 doesn't have the Cnlt A, automove command, but like Tabarnak stated you can queue units to move the turn before by dragging the "path" to were you want them next turn.
