Clipper Ship

Looks, good. Ill try to think of some Ideas for the Death sequense.
 
Wonderful unit, but, it's not working for me! :cry:

I installed the unit correctly but, as soon as the "The city of XYZ has completed production of the Clipper" window pops up, the game crashes. No error message or anything, it just freezes.

At first, I tought it could be a problem on the .ini file. There were two small errors there: First, the RUN line reffered to the "ClipperShipRun.flc" animation instead of "ClipperShipRunTest.flc". Second, the sound lines reffered to, i.e., "ManOWarRun.wav" instead of "..\Man-O-War\ManOWarRun.wav". I fixed both problems, saved the file and restarted the game. Unfortunately, the game crashed just in the same way. :(

So, I got here to the CFC forums to see if anyone had the same problem or if there was a patched version already avaiable for download (I downloaded the file just a few hours after it was posted). No one with the same problem, but there was a new version avaiable. Downloaded it, installed it, tested it. Crashed it. :aargh:

I am sure it is not a problem with the way I installed the unit, since I already did it with some forty other ones (I've been making a small mod these last few weeks) and they all worked well... So, would anyone be kind enough to help me? Please? Pretty please? :)

BTW, I'm using Civ III v1.29.
 
I'll look into it tonight. I have PtW, but it shouldn't make a difference. I know I tested the unit before I posted it, and it worked fine. However, I'll definitely look at it again.

Sorry, Straczynski, I goofed the animation timing. Amateur error. :) It has been corrected, and it seems to work fine. This is the kind of feedback I need.


An updated version has been posted. The animation timing has been corrected. The ini has been changed to reference sound files correctly.
