Cloud Saves? Where did they go?

Where is the option to turn on cloud saving? I don't want to start a new game just because I have shifted computers. Can Firaxis really have failed that badly that they didn't include cloud support(in 2016!?)?

I also want cloud saves, but you can manually copy your save file and move it across computers.

Not sure what you're talking about, Cloud Saves exist. In the save-menu, on the right side, next to the name of the save-file there's a box to activate it.

There is no such checkbox anywhere on my interface.

It's indeed missing. It's supposed to be right above the "Sort by Name"-Button.

Not sure what might be the reason for that.

I saved and loaded my first game to cloud successfully, but now I can't find it. I think maybe it broke after launch somehow.

Edit: Just checked again... its back

Maybe it was just connection issues with Steam.

Cloud saves goto the 2K servers...make sure you are "linked" into 2K by looking at the bottom right corner of the Main Menu screen.

Yep, just came back to post this in case it hadn't been yet. Link your account on that image at the bottom right of the main menu and the Cloud save functionality will show up.
