I've just won the premiership again, so I can't be that bad... Oh and my other manager is back in management with Barnsley back in the second division and after 4 games they finished 9th after gainig 8 points from those 4 games.

My contract was extended with two years, without my knowledge. And I'm getting 15k a week more wage, which I would have declined since that's a lot of youth players I could have contracted with that money.

I meant your own contracts. If you never get the option to renew contracts you've toggled some button somewhere. I do all contract renewals, for the staff, players and youth players. But not my own (would be weird), didn't get a message of it either.

oh yes, same here, only the U18 players I let others handle, since it's hard to tell what they're going to be when they're 21 to me. I trust the judgement of my staff. I normally evaluate the player on his 21st. That's the time where I think he should be ready for the first squad: playing or bench, doesn't matter. After that i judge again at 23, and then another player will have to leave, or the player himself will leave or head for a bench-seating career.

I got first team worthy players at age 19, but I get your point. I just don't trust the 'program' to do the contracts correctly. If you want to do it yourself, just ask for coach reports, that should do the trick.

One question: why don't I have a second team? I do have a youth team, and I see other teams with second teams. Is there some way I could create this?

nope...it should all be fixed with the EP's.

Of course there are players ready at age 19, or even younger. For example Diego of Santos, Bruno of São Paulo, Nigel de Jong, Wesley Sneijder, Robin van Persie, Mido, Kevin Kuranyi of Stuttgart, Arjen Robben.....but of the players that are like 16 when you start the game....

Hull are 22nd in the first division after 14 games, so before I was their manager they played worse and after they played worse as well...

Plus I just won at home against Deportivo to qualify for the knockout stages of the champions league. Barnsley are 6th in division 2.
