I've played a couple of games now with a teammate (2 v 2ai v 2ai), and we cannot win a domination victory. Once all AI capitals are taken it still indicates one capital remains to be taken. Given that you cannot even attack your teammate it's not possible to win.

Am I missing something obvious here or is it just not possible to do a co-op domination victory in BE?

I have the same problem with domination victory. I think there are several bugs in the victory conditions playing in team not only with domination victory.

I have exactly the same problem, it's impossible to win because you cannot attack your own partner..

I was surprised to not see more threads on this issue. I assumed a fair number of people played co-op multi with friends.
If something as basic as a victory condition is broken I have to guess that other basic things like pooled team research balance or the ability for the AI to understand basic team concepts (like partner army strength) is also flawed.

As far as I can see it's the same as it was in Civ 5, they basically don't "know" about teams and treat Civs as if it was a free for all. Both, for enemies (declaring war on me, while my partner has an insanely strong army) as well as allies (attacking us while his ally accepted DoF a few turns before that).

Overall the game is very coop-unfriendly, not only because of the AI and the Domination-Bug, but also because of the shared techs. Wasn't too much of a problem in Civ 5, but in BE it really limits the tactical options, mainly by basically forcing both players down the same affinities.

(Semi-OffTopic - Sorry. ^^)
