If i'm remembering correctly there is a perenantly allience option in this game. I was thinking, since their are some civs with two or more possible leader how about haveing some games with co-rulers. Say you pick Alexis, your co-ruler and assistant in war would be your brother, Flauros. You two would start the game with units close (real close) to eachother. When you both settle your land you could build your empire and pool together your resources and units. There could however be a disagreement between the two and the allience is broken creating two new civs. If would be a situation were you could choose to work together or grow apart from eachother.

I'm not sure how well this would work in the game. But it would most definantly do good as a scenerio.

Sounds like you should design some scenarios. I'm not confident it'd work well in a "randomly generated" world, where its sort of a "all on all" mentality, alliances being formed out of in-game realities. But, it does sound intriguing in specific context.

Yes i know but i wouldn't know how to do the allience thing. I'm not sure if its pyton or a specific addition to the world bilder that allows you to do this. If I knew i would have done it as a scenerio. I just put it out to see what everyone thought. I havent done any scenerios so if i do this then it would be my first and it would be the work of a neebie designer.

Why not just do teams with the other leaders of your civ? Just reload the random map a few times til you're close to each other (sometimes you end up far apart, sometimes close).

That's what im talking about (without the map reloading). I was thinking about a scenerio or maybe in game (randomly?) you would be partnered with the other leader of your civ. When this happens of corse you would be near eachother. It's just i don't know how to make the alliences in the game to make it a scenerio.

Go to SinglePlayer>CustomGame and then change the numbers to the left of the Leader names to the same number and you'll be on the same team, then do Custom_Continents and One Per Team.

Ok. I got it, but is there a way to may a three-or-more way allience?

Yep, just set the numbers appropriately.

Like:

1 Arendel
1 Hannah the Irin
1 Varn Gosam
2 Flauros
2 Alexis
2 Hyborem (if you could actually pick minor civs)
3 Rhoanna
3 Ethne the White
3 Cardith Lorda

When multiple teams exist they normally are grouped together in any type of map.

A fun setup is to make 2 large teams and check the option 'Always war' so that the other all-AI team is permanently at war with you.

One thing that i can't do however is put some of the minor civs together (maybe the barbs and Doviello) :(
So now i just need a story and ill me on my way to compleation.
