I was thinking, with this new rumor of '1 Unit per Tile' and grand strategy, maybe they can make it so that after a 'Production Turn' you can have 5 'Combat Turns' where you and the AI manuver you units for battle, and the tide of war can change rather rapidly.
This is because I don't think that in warr, one 5000 men group kills another 5k men group in 40 years, and refuses to march another 200 or so miles to the next hex.
Maybe less, maybe more. Maybe discuss how stupid this is, how they should make it so that they have more than 1 unit per tile, or that hexes are just plain nuts. But I have harbored this idea for a long time, and it does seem interesting: 440 years of buildup for war that ends in 80 years. (11 turns/2 turns/10 combat turns)
