Combining Two Mods - Python Problems

Hello all! This is my first post on the forum. I recently downloaded the fantastic World War II - 1939 mod and have had a wonderful time playing it so far. I noticed that the mod did not have historical events, similar to the in-game Road to War, and thought that it would make for an interesting experience in the 1939 mod. So upon discovering The_J's WarNPeace Script, I figured I could combine the two and write a few events myself for a scenario in the 1939 mod. The only problem is that I'm rather hopeless when it comes to Python and have no idea how to go about doing this. Would anyone be willing to help me?

Honestly it might work if you just install the assets directly into a backed up copy of 1939. From a quick glance, you wouldn't actually be overwriting anything.
