Commisioning better graphics for extra resources...

Okay, I just checked both those wonders (sphinx_only and Ren_palace2), and there's nothing wrong with them. I also use both those graphics in my Ethnic Citystyles mod and I never heard anybody complain about them.
 
Geo, to clarify:

Both the GL, and a reg Lighthouse, have been built in Antium. Rome, Caesarea, and two other of my cities have Lighhouses built, and some dozen or so foreign cities. With the exception of Antium (where the GL is), and Caesarea (happens to be at the same latitude as Antium, don't know if that's relevant) the Lighthouses show fine. In Antium & Caesarea, the Lighthouses don't show, and in Antium, the GL doesn't show up either.

My SDK changes are limited to adding in TheLopez's Great Generals from Barb Combat, and adding in a new XML tag for buildings, that allows a % reduction in unit upgrade costs (CivIII Leonardo's Workshop). So nothing touching how the GL or reg L work.

And I'm not using sphinx_only.nif. I'm trying to use sphinx.nif, which is the one that incorporates both sphinx_only.nif & temple.nif. I'll try sphinx_only, see if it works, but I would like to use the combined NIF if possible...

Is it possible those cities with missing graphics are quite small with a lot of facilities in it? If that's the case, the game doesn't show some of them, but it would be weird it picks water-based facilities/wonders for that.

I can't see anything wrong with the xml in Civ4BuildingInfos and ClassInfos. The PlotLSystem file has nothing to do with city buildings so its useless to include that one.
CityLSystem is the file I need to see.

Also, have you tried putting the Great Lighthouse in other cities in worldbuilder? If it shows up, it must be a graphic glitch which may solve itself if you start a new game.

I couldn't see an earlier post of you in which you say the Sphinx temple graphic has a problem. Perhaps, instead of putting forward your problems one at a time, make a list and post it here. And don't see too much in the error logs. It's not because that gives an error that things will break up ingame. ;)
 
Thanks Geo. I'm sorry for the confusion, you've got every right to be frustrated with me... :cry: I tend to make assumptions, both about what I am doing, and how others will understand me when I try to explain what I'm doing... Sorry.

In response to your last set of questions, responses:
- Not a small city
- Haven't touched CityLSystem, so it's stock BtS
- I'm a twerp :crazyeye:, shoulda tried WB before. I've been complaining for nothing. The GL works fine. What I didn't now, is that when you have a very narrow harbour, Civ can only display one outlying water structure. So, the Lighthouse, GL, and Colossus are all built way out from the city. Normally, they stick up beside each other. But is your harbour is only two plots heading straight out from your city, there's only room to display one. When I WB deleted the Colossus, GL showed up. WB out GL, Lighthouse shows up. Yeesh...

I guess the graphics error log isn't as useful as I thought, just as you say, hmm? Thanks again for your patience. Re: the Sphinx, if you see the other thread, I got it sorted. Put 2 & 2 together, fixed the skin on the sphinx_only model, everything works peachy now. Have to learn to stop assuming, and go through everything. I woulda seen that the XML doesn't call up the combined model, just the Sphinx on it's own... yeesh... :blush:
 
Don't worry, I'll have the right to ask your help now for some stuff I break my head over. One day you'll pay back. ;)
