Communication menu gone.

I was playing the Ryse and Fall mod on BTS, and the little communication menu that lists all the civilizations (you know, above the world map?) Just vanished I have tried every setting I could find to get it back, it is not even minimized, there is just nothing there! I tried other mods and even normal civ4 BTS and it still fails to show up. I was wondering if there was a setting i just missed? or am I going to have to reinstall? Thats all I ever used for communication and i cant really play without it.

Do you mean the bit that shows the scores of all the Civs just above the mini map in the bottom right hand corner? If so try using the button above the mini map that looks like a red tick (next to the show resurces button), that should toggle the Civ score information on and off.

I ended up being impatient and reinstalling, it worked. Thanks for the suggestion though. Just curious(this may be a dumb question), but is there a way to contact other civs besides that little menu?

In the foreign advisor, right click on the civ you want to contact. I have the right click menu option checked in the game options though, so if right click doesn't work try shift left click.
