So I've began work on making a mod-mod for FFH2 that will do several things:
-Merge Revolution Mod (jdog500) with FFH2 (C++/Python/XML)
-Merge JFort (Jenkel, Bhruic, TheLopez) with FFH2 (C++/Python/XML)
-Modify Machu Picchu Mod (GIR) into a Khazad mechanic (XML/Python)
-Add Sureshot's resource discovery mechanic (Python/XML)
-Add Next War's resource depletion mechanic (Python)
These are in order of the difficulty of work, top being the most complex. I'll release bits and pieces as I do them but I can't really give any true release schedule.
So, why am I posting without anything to show for my work? For one, I want to get ideas for things in existing mods that might work well with these ideas, because the community is better versed in the mods out there than I am. By doing this at the beginning, I can get the simple things together all at once, without having to pause on the C++ work to add python or XML. I want to merge thematically similar things into a mod that really adds even more depth into FFH2, without deleting or removing things that are put in by the team.
