I have a slight question that I hope I can get an answer to.

Is it possible to download a file (such as a Civ2 saved game) from an e-mail, save it onto a floppy disk in A: drive, transfer it to another computer, and open the file on the 2nd computer?

I would really appreciate an answer to this as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

I don't see why not.

I'm not familiar with the Civilization 2 save game files, however I see no reason why there should be any such problem with doing this - unless the files are larger than 1.3 MB. If they are larger than that size, you may want to consider zipping the file using WinZip.

As I recall, Civ2 saves are a lot smaller than 1.3mb. In any event, I used to do this all the time, taking files from one PC to another, on a floppy, with no problems.
