It may be a little early to be talking about this but, hey who cares?!
the first mod I see coming is one that let you research all technologies, lets you use all resources, lets you build all wonders and all units (mabybe not UU) from every scenario in one game and dare i say a play with all civs? What you think?

You couldn't play with all the civs at once as there is a limit of 31 civs per scenario.

Not without coding changes.

you can add techs using the editor where says techs in rules but you cant add eras, anyway game crashes.

I think we will be able to add eras because in the some senarios there a diferent eras, stone age, iron age i think it is going to be a feature in conquest

You can change the name of the four eras now.

The Mesopotamian Scenario will have 3 eras

Bronze, Iron, and something else

You can modify an era in Civ3 now. There is is nothing stopping you from totally redoing the name and tech tree for an era today if you've got PTW (it's been so long since I played vanilla, I'm not sure if it can also).

Did you attempt to add one or just rename an existing one?

Yeah, that doesn't work and my version of the editor doesn't even have that option.

Using all resources shouldn't be too hard. I am making a mod with 64 resources in it. The problem I am having is with buildings, not resources. Of course, the map looks more cluttered with all those extra resources on it...

They've said that the number of Eras is hard-coded, so it's unlikely to be changed.

It's, however, possible to effectively decrease the number of Eras. Say we wanted to have a scenario divided into the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. Simply rename the later three Eras to these, and call the first one, say, "Prehistoric", and then, under "Player Properties" under "Scenario" in the Editor you set everyone's "Starting Era" to "Stone Age". Now the first Era will be over when the game starts, and you'll have three Eras to play in.

NB: You do this all civilizations will start with all Prehistoric Techs discovered.
