conquests patch question

Just wanted to know is conquests v1.22 patch compatible with European version of game or is it just for American version. Im talking about the one in the civfanatics patch centre- http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3/patches/ and what does mirror 1, mirror 2 mean.

The patch is "international", so it shouldn't matter which version you have.

And the mirrors are just different places to download the patch from.
