Sorry about the two day delay. I had to work 32 hours this past week and am also getting close to exam time so I have been very busy lately. Things will be much faster from here on out since I only have 20 hours of work next week and will be done with the semester in 2 weeks.

@ Detlef and the Spanish. Your aggressive actions against Rome concerns us greatly. Expansion of Spanish territory at the expense of the Romans off-sets the balance of the known world and deeply concerns me. I feel that we have no option but to take military action to protect the sovereignty of the Dutch Nation State. The question is do you want me as an ally or as an enemy. I would prefer to form a military alliance with you and partition of the Roman Nation. I am anxiously awaiting your reply (and any concerns) and will take whatever actions required to uphold and protect the sovereignty of my Great Nation.

@ BK the Dutch King: I don't understand why you feel concerned. The Romans are barbariens without culture and soul and this war is a personal thing between the romans and the spanish. But OK, see my diplomatic-depeche(e-mail), because this is nothing for the public.

Ok...I am sorry for posting in the forum...I will only send e-mails to everyone concerning diplomacy, even such as this.
Anyways, the situation has been resolved in a manner that satisfies the Dutch. Their land might be worthless as far as agriculture is concerned, but it is land...and some of it to the southwest is actually decent (and I think they have a few luxuries).
