Consequences of 1UPT removal/stack-reinstroduction

    Agreed completely !! C'mon folks, this isn't Civ4 it is Civ5. Lets play our new game and await the patch.

    As for Civ6 going back to SOD..I surely hope not, or if it does, perhaps it can have an option to use it or 1upt, although that would require a very sophisticated AI..and as we see, we surely don't have one yet in Civ5.

    For those that think Civ5 is too easy, play Immortal or worse yet Deity after the patch and without laming the AI's with deals that give you immediate gold now, but where you don't have to pay it back when you DOW them in a turn or few.

    Civ5 is not Civ4 and hopefully the new patch is a step forwards to a better gaming experience for Civ5. .. neilkaz ..

    1UPT is a bigger technical challenge, both for building rules into the game and coding an AI to deal with it, than multiple-UPT.

    I'm patient and willing to give the devs quite a bit of time (and even AI modders once the core sdk is released) to make this work, but as of the current game state, it looks that the game has taken quite a performance hit for this new rule. 1UPT is great in theory, but in practice it needs a lot of hard work to get right. Let's see how it goes...
