Shouldn't Emperor Constantine after whom the capital of the Byzantine empire was named be the great leader of Byzantium?
This shows the need for more than one leader for each, not only some of the nations, even Civ2 had one male and one female leader available for each tribe.

Maybe in the next one dude, maybe in the next one. Thats the fun of civilization and even speculation when the new entry will arrive. Who, what, how, why :p

If Civ keeps only the same leaders all the time, it will become lame. Constantine has big chances to appear again in the next one, if Byzantine features.

I would also want a different roman emperor this time. Not Julius or Augustus, and not Nero, maybe Traian.

or Hadrian, or Marc Anthony, or Claudius, or
You are so right, dude!
All I do is suggest stuff, all I want to accomplish with these suggestions is for this game to be even more fun and addictive!
Some ideas might suck, gotta keep trying, you never know who's reading this stuff, perhaps Sid himself? doubt it.

Constantine didn't rule the Byzantine Empire as it is conceived in game though, i.e. as the post-Roman successor state to, well, a unified Rome.

Claudius would be a terrible choice, and Mark Anthony did not rule Rome.

I think they need to stick with alternating between Julius Caesar and Augustus, as they represent the true administrative and military might of the Roman Empire better than anyone. Constantine wouldn't really fit the spirit of civ's incarnation of Rome, either.
