first of all this is one of the best mods i have ever played. kudos to the developers. i have a request that i believe will make this mod even better, especially on the largest maps. is there anyway to make it so barbarians find cities on their own, instead of spawning at random??? i'm playing the english on the GEM map and would love it if there was a way to control expansion of the asian, african and south american civs. the european civs are controlled by lack of land, but the rest expand without any problem. it would be great if barbarians would settle early on and expand like normal civs. is there a way to do this??? thank you.

If you use Barbarian Civ component you can affect how fast they settle down and form new civs. You can change various values for this component in Revolution.ini file. Each setting has there description so it should be a simple process. New world Policy is important setting as that affects barbarians on those continents that do not have other players at the start of game.

i don't want the barbarians to form civs. would like them to stay as barbarians, but be able to expand their territory and keep "real" civs expansion in check. thanks for the heads up with the revolution.ini file. does this only affect north and south america or any area with open space??? what would be great, is if the barbarians had a unique unit that had no movement cost and high strength. it seems like every time i create a barbarian city with units on world builder, in 4 or 5 turns most of the units leave the city and it is much easier for the AI to capture the city. how feasible would it be to create a unique unit for the barbarians????
