Converting/opening font dds files

Is anyone able to open or convert the existing font.dds files? These appear to be in the weird 2-file (-index) format, but they are all immune to conversion by the CivDdsUnpacker.exe tool (it throws and error and skips these). I want to add a few extra fonts and I'd like to have the existing font images as a template.

I've attached the full set in case anyone knows how to do this (I just copied all the "twcenmt"-prefixed files out the the resource folder).

Tw Cen MT is a standard MS-Windows font (look in the Fonts section of Control Panel), so in theory to make new glyhps for an existing font size, or even to create a new font size, is just a case of generating the dds for the new glyphs and hooking it up with the correct ggxml file.

And there is the issue, the ggxml file is incompletely understood. There is one example from S Seckman on the Workshop that adds new font icons that has a ggxml file (which I copied for my own font icon series of mods) and adding new regular shape icons is fairly simple, but a number of key parameters (eg a, b and c) that are used by font glyphs are not explained anywhere.

Google search: "glyph a b c" may answer your unknown.

OK, no Tw Cen MT on my machine but I found it online. I suppose I can just type the character in Gimp (at size 24, 22, etc) and flatten into a dds to get my new character images. I can take the a b c parameters from some related characters.

Does anyone know if the TwCenMT##.ggxml files can be replaced by VFS=true, or are these not reloaded? (If the latter, I guess I could add characters as font icons, but that would be a hassle to use.)

Edit: Bah! I tried one of those "free font" download sites and I just got loaded with 6 adware programs (and no font set). If someone could post or PM me Tw Cen MT, I'd be much obliged... Never mind.
