How do I copy a map to a scenario file?

Here's the situation...I have a map for Lord of the Rings that I got from off the 'net, and (on my own PC, not to be distributed) I want to copy it to a Lord of the Rings scenario that was developed...this scenario doesn't have a map. How do I copy the map from one .bic file to another .bic file?

Thanks!

Open the bic file that has the map. Change it to "Use default rules". After you save it, it will only be a map and will use the default rules (from civ3mod.bic) when you start it as a scenario.

With the above instructions, whenever you start a new game using that bic file for the scenario it will take the rules from civ3mod.bic. If you want to keep a custom scenario with that same bic file the procedure is similar but just a bit more involved:

Back up your civ3mod.bic file
Rename the scenario (rules) bic file to civ3mod.bic
Open the map bic file in the editor
Choose "Use default rules"
Save the file
Uncheck "Use default rules"
Save the file

This loads all of the default rules from the civ3mod.bic file (which is your scenario rules file at the moment) and saves them with the map file. This way you'll have the map and rules in the same file.
