Corporation Overhaul: The WASP mod

I've downloaded it.. but I'm not sure what to do now. Like, do I just put Wasp1.2 in RFC? Or do I put assets in assets? Or what?!
 
Copy all the contents of the file (should be two folders: assets and public maps) and paste them into your RFC folder. Overwrite all conflicts

Is there any chance you could upload the files that chances corporations only, without the jewish -> prots mod? :) Or any way I can handle that myself?
 
well the corp changes are included in a few places:
the civ4corporationinfo XML file in GameInfo contains most of the corp changes. Units and buildings also was altered for guildsmen/executives and corp wonder changes. Techs were changed as well. Text changes for the corps are in the Civ4gametext_RFCBTS. I also had to edit the globaldefines to allow more than 12 resources per corp. Map changes are of course in the map file. That's all I can remember.

So... if I do a fresh reinstall and then only change the files you mention here, that ought to work?
 
The download appears to be broken. Any chance you could re-upload it?
 
I do not know what is wrong with your game, I'd encourage you to check out this thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=8967553

Since it's evidently an issue with riseandfall.py I recopied the version available for download and had no problem. Thus I'm going to assume this is an isolated incident. If anyone else runs into the same problem i'll look into it further.

P.S. I'm making some tweaks to the map, corporations, and wonders/buildings. Please post if there's anything you think I ought to put in.
 
This is the python error which causes other civs but starting 4 not to spawn:

This is WASP 1.2 and I didn't alter any files.

Shouldn't it be i4000BC and not i400BC ? And it happens every turn.

Or is it 400 BC of Carthage spawn? It looks like it's not identified as a constant.

The only changes to the event manager and handler were from Panopticon's protestantism mod which absolutely works. And I made only a couple lines of change to Riseandfall and they are non-essential, so if you want to use the riseandfall that came with the most up to date version of Panopticon's Reformation, go ahead it won't break the mod. So I'm really at a loss as to what might be causing your problems. I might just try making absolutely sure your version of RFC is clean and updated then installing the modmod. Other than that I don't know what to tell ya.
 
I like the ideas behind this mod, but would it be possible to make them more... well... modular and break it down into separate files? e.g. one file for only map changes, etc.
