Could someone please shed some light, on how Corporation fees are calculated as of BTS 3.13 ? We have some threads on this, but i only found pre 3.13 stuff so far...

I am i.e. confused about this:

The Tooltip for Sid Sushi say -13 Gold.

The Tooltip over city maintenance say 26.62 Gold.

There are no other corporations in the city - the icon covered by the tooltip would be Cereal, which can not coexist with Sushi.

So how does 13 become 26.62 ?

It is not about the 50% reduction, cities without Courthouse (i had one) had a much higher factor...

Tooltip for city maintenance shows you
26.6 +2.6 + 6= 17.7?
why
because of the Courthouse
The tooltip for Sid's Sushi considers the courthouse

The city Maintenance Tool tip, is calculated like this
For Each Corp:

4 (if the corp gives any bonus)
+1 per Resource bonus from sid's sushi (which means if you have 4 fish on a Normal map this is 4... 4 fish cost less on a large map but they give less bonus as well)

Take that total and
1. Multiply by a population Factor +~5.5% per pop ((pop+17)/18)
2. Multiply by Government effects
3. Divide by Inflation
4. multiply by difficulty factor (goes to 1.5 on Deity, 1.0 on Normal)

That produces the City maintenance tool tip

The Corporation Tooltip includes the effect of courthouses+Inkandhas

Thanks for your answer - it cleared some things up - i somehow totally missed/erased from memory, that the fees will depend on city size... :D

Yea i know how the 17.7 came into beeing :D I was wondering where the 13 Gold on the right tooltip came from and how it became 26.62 on the left tool tip...

Your answer explains a part of it, but the numbers still dont add up...

- I have standard map size.

- Sushi consumes 22 ressources and gives me 11:food:+44:culture:

- City is size 21
- I am running Free Market for -25% Corp Costs.
- My inflation is shown as 70% (Had this one nice inflation-reducing event :D)

----------------

Using your instructinos i get:
(4+22) * (21+17)/18 * 0.75 * 0.70 = 58.81 (I am glad its not what i see in the city screen :D)

----------------

4 (if the corp gives any bonus)
+1 per Resource bonus from sid's sushi (which means if you have 4 fish on a Normal map this is 4... 4 fish cost less on a large map but they give less bonus as well)

Perhaps its
2 + 0.5 per Ressource consumed... Would explain the 13 in the right tool tip. Still...

(13) * (21+17)/18 * 0.75 * 0.70 = 29.40

Its closer to the 26.62 seen in game, but it's noy a exact match... Rounding errors (maybe from inflation display) ?

You Divide by the 'effect of Inflation' +70% = x 1.7 so divide by 1.7*

(4+22) x (21+17)/18 x 0.75 /1.70 = 24.22

I assume the discrepancy is due to some rounding Error
(or if you are playing a higher difficulty level, I forgot about that factor... so I guess you are playing on prince or monarch to get a slight extra cost)

* Yes, more inflation decreases the corporate costs in the city... of course inflation is added back onto those, so it has no effect on the final bottom line cost.

The 13 didn't become 26.62. The 26.62 became 13 (rounded down) when you moused over the corporate icon thanks to the courthouse.

Hmmm i have other cities where it is not that close to be 50%... But assuming some stacked rounding you might be right after all...

@Krikkitone - it's prince, i just looked up it's 1.1 from handicap. Still some rounding error (i assume from inflation display) but it's a match now - i checked agains some other cities too...

(4+22) * (21+17)/18 * 0.75 / 1.70 * 1.1 = 26.64

Thanks :D
