I am playing COMT6 and was going to submit my QSC save and when I tried to copy it from HD to floppy, I was told the disk was full. So I looked in my SAVES directory and of the 20+ saves 19 were about 117K in size, but the 1000 BC save was 1.77MB. I replayed the 1000 BC turn from the 1025 BC save and when I tried to save the file I got an error message. I am planning on deleting the 1000 BC save and trying again. Is this common or am I worrying about a rare occurence.

Since I'm already up to about 500 AD, the new save will have no impact and I should be able to use my turn log to recreate all of the events (there was no battles and only one trade).

Was the 1000 BC an autosave? It might just be that its not compressed, and all the others are. You can try e-mailing it to me, and I'll have a look at it if you like.

But if I understand correctly, its just to get your QSC submission? There should be no problem with the approach (deleting and replaying the one turn from the turn log).

Thanks, I'll just delete the old file and replay the turn and re-save it. If that fails then I'll PM you about what to do.
