If I understand correctly, the Temple of Artemis only expires when you research Education. So you needn't have worried. Still, brilliantly played, well done

Really? Hmm, I thought anyone discovering a tech rendered a wonder obsolete, but now that I think about it, it's not like I've ever put it to the test or anything. I'm wondering if maybe that's something I forgot or if I always thought that. Before a few months ago, I hadn't played much in the past 2 years.

I think it may have worked that way in CivII, as I was surprised when wonders didn't become obsolete as soon as anyone learned the tech in CivIII. Don't really remember. But if you capture the Great Library, you can learn all known techs past Education, so it definitely doesn't matter if anyone else knows the obsoleting tech.

Yes, that's the way it works in Civ II, and for a long time I too thought it did in Civ III.
