This is the thread where you tell us how you did - win, lose or retire.

Only read or post in this thread when your game is ended and successfully submitted.

OK I'll post first

Game status: Cultural 100K Victory for Babylon
Game date: 1720 AD
Firaxis score: 3744
Jason score: 7250

This didn't quite end as well as I had expected it to.
Spaceship Victory for Babylon
Game date:1350 AD
Firaxis score:3848
Jason score:8650

I could have won a turn earlier but for the sneaky Aztec medieval infantry. I had got a leader on my second last turn and was about to finish satellite the next turn. I hoped to use it to rush the last spaceship part in the interturn, but during their turn the Aztecs captures one of my unguarded cities and thus deprived the to-be builder of the spaceship part of Aluminium. So I had to waste a turn in getting the city and then waiting another turn for the spaceship part to be done. Also I got an early ga which proved to be quite a bad thing as it really bogged me down in the Early middle ages. Also I think I lost the 4 turn tech pace in the beginning of the IA, and a couple of researches (Rocketry) took 5-8 turns. Anyways this was a very nice game. Maybe I could've scored better off I had opted for Conquest.
Thanks for the game.

Diplomatic victory for Babylon in 1740 AD, scores not worth mentioning. :(

Was way too slow, first time attempting a 20K cultural victory. I could have reached that 180 or so years later, but didn't feel like putting that much more time into it. So took the diplomatic victory after building the United Nations instead.

Game went fairly well, only fought two wars. The first against the Americans for access to horses and their Pyramids, the second way later against Persia because they had the only source of Saltpeter in the vicinity.

To expand a little......

I took out the Americans first, then Pesia. I started cramming as many towns as possible all outside my core, building temples, libs, and later universities and colosseum with disbanded Cavs as th shield source. After the southern half of my continent was secure I started warring up top, swinging from west to east. I had a checkpoint set up on the eastern land bridge so I felt that was the best way to keep Iroquois out of my core.

From that point on it was rush all the culture buildings I could. The other content sent a few troops now and then but it was over.

Thanks for the game.

I had asked Alan & Più for an extension of the deadline by PM, but didn't get a response so far. In any case, I'm attaching my final save here, perhaps it can still be entered into the system.

Conquest victory in 510 AD.
Fireaxis score 5992.
(Jason of course I don't know, as I wasn't able to submit...)
