Did your "ancient" Sumerians make it to a later stage game result, or was this one finished earlier?
 
SS victory 1500 AD.
4 turn research whole Modern Age with 10% luxury (with no warfare I was surprised); 3 times five turn research during the industrial age.

If someone else is up for it I'll post some more details.
 
Any Problems with the Dutch?
Not sure what you mean. They behaved well enough. They did demand Motorized Transportation and I gave it so this mundane game wouldn't slow down.
 
I ask because in my Game the Dutch are very strong,but they have no Iron->no UU.
Or did u play without war with the other Continent?
 
I conquered Scandinavia > 100 tiles from domination limit=comfortable.
I noted the Dutch didn't have salpeter either.

Btw maybe I'll try Spaceship again. Are there more videos? Bulrushes instead of dandelions? ;)
 
Low scoring diplomatic victory. I could have won 10 turns earlier, but I was fixated on the space race when France declared on the Dutch and the Dutch allied the Portuguese. This left me alone on my continent just building MA techs and spacecraft parts. Completed 7 or 8 of those before I realized that the Diplomatic victory was in reach. Dutch completed the Internet one turn before I did.

Developed poorly in the early going and did not wage war early enough. Was rushed to finish before the deadline.

I believe the Jason score was in the 5k with the Firaxis score mid 4k.
