Crash But Starts

Anyone else getting a crash has been detected popup message, but the game starts and loads fine? Even if you do not see the message when you load the game, exiting to the desktop you should see it. I mean I can play the game, but that message is there on the desktop.

I haven't played in months, but I always had this happen back when I played.

It's not the game that is crashing, but it seems to be a different program that starts up together with the game. Not sure what it is.
