crash in jgl.dll?

Has anyone seen a crash of CivIII because of jgl.dll? I've played for several weeks without any problems before this.

I'd include a save game, but it's 286k, which exceeds the attachment limit in this forum. I will gladly email the save file to anyone who wants to try to reproduce the crash.

It always crashs in the same spot in the savegame, right after I assign a city to work on a unit, any unit.

Help!

Ok, here's some more info. The saved game crashes when I try to bring up the SpaceShip Progress screen, F10. The strange thing is that other savegames (unrelated to this current game) allow me to bring up F10 without crashing.

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks! It's very puzzling that one savegame will crash at F10, whereas all the other ones won't. And I tried going back to the earliest autosave game that I have for this one. Still crashes.

I will take a look for you. :)

You have a pretty good game going there! The game also crashes on my machine when I press F10. :(

I don't know why it crashed but I will forward the save game to Firaxis for you and ask them to take a look.

Thanks!!!

Good news! Firaxis told me they have fixed your saved game and will email it to you. :)

Did you use a save game editor or something because your game shows an impossible value for one of the spaceship parts, according to Firaxis.

I got the email, and attachment from Barry. Here's what he said:

> The reason is, your game (the only one I have ever seen like this) seems to think that the Coastal Fortress is a spaceship part and that’s why F10 crashed the game.

This games was started from the "New Game" option, so this wasn't a custom scenario. Nor have I edited any of the files of Civ3, beyond upgrading to 1.29f.

I will try the file out tonight.
