Crash to a black screen

Hey, my civ4 keeps crashing about 5 - 10 min into the game. It crashes into a black screen, where I cannot do anything but restart the computer. I have a toshiba p30 and I have the latest patch. Any ideas?

Check the specs on your Video Card. I have ATI Raedon 9200 and 1 Gig of onboard Ram.

Radeon 9600, and 512 Ram. The game used to work, but suddely i re install it and it doesnt want to work anymore

Any errors shown in the 'Event Viewer'? It's in the Admin tools in the Windows control panel.

I believe i have figured out the problem. I went and uninstalled ATI hydravision and it seems to work fine now.
