Crashes while loading during leader speech

I have played over 350 hours of CivV without problems. I just put in a new HD and reinstalled steam and CivV.

Now CivV crashes during the "Oh great leader can your civilization stand the test of time?" speech as it loads. Should I will reinstall CivV? Or is there a setting to change somewhere? I have a 10 month old Dell Aurora R2 computer, latest video driver for the HD5670 (I think), i5, 1TB HD, DX11, Win7.

I've started seeing this for the first time too. Just today. After many months and hours of play. A new patch pushed by Steam?

I went on steam, right clicked and deleted local content, reloaded the game and now so far it works.
