CRC error installing new patch

I'm getting an error (see attachment) when trying to install the new 1.52 patch over a new, clean install of Civ4. If I ignore the warning and continue with the installation, I cannot launch the game when it's done.

Does this error mean the patch I downloaded (from here, btw) is corrupt?

Yes. You would need to download the patch again from another mirror.
