I've looked at the guides for getting new buildings into the game, including using blender and retexturing assets. At the moment I would like some basic help on doing something less adventurous, i.e. taking the assets that exist to create cities and turning the individual buildings into a building that could appear in a district.
So, for example, I've loaded the asset "DIS_CTY_AB_Bld_01" into the Asset Editor. At this stage, I'm not worried about retexturing or changing it in any way, I'd just like to be able to select it as a building asset, that I can then use for one of the buildings in Anno Domini, that appears in one of the districts.
Once I've been able to do that, I can rinse and repeat with other similar assets. Naturally, I can then look at retexturing etc once I understand this basic function.
Can anyone please help?
