tried a lot of things to solve that, but think it has something to do with my factory OC Hardware ...
OC isn't easy to downclock , would have to install own programs for that
GTX 980TI OC, i7-6700K 4.5 Ghz OC, DDR 4 3200 16 GB OC
Soundblaster Z , M2 SSD Samsung Pro 512 GB
- newest graphic card drivers (new install option) and reinstalled all DX/VC++ even soundcard
- reduced Midi to 44Khz (also had that problem with high pitched music)
- forced DSL off
- borderless windows mode
- lowest settings to highest settings , but no difference in CTD and performance
- no battle and movement animations
- windows defender exception for CIV VI, all directories (had that problem that loading needed 2-3min)
- turned off music
- without mods and with mods (Maps)
Sometimes I could play 60 min or even 180 min , but it always just CTD without error message ..
very seldom it crashes the whole PC and the soundcard hangs with a high pitch.
Maybe could turn off the soundcard in the ini files from Civ VI ...
SO ANYONE HAS A special registry hack or setting, which could help ?
Thanks
