I'm crashing to desktop when I try to create a colony. It doesn't matter if I pick the list from alt-F1 or create the colony when the game tells me I should make one.
Steps to repeat: Load up BtS, select single player, load th 1942 save, and start a colony with alt-F1. Select the continent with Kansas City. Game will pause for awhile then crash to desktop. Event log shows an error is coming from "CvGameCoreDLL.dll, version 1.0.0.1".
I played the game five years further in (1947), thinking the recently-captured city might be causing the problem, but the game still crashes when I make the colony.
I've also included a save from a few years earlier. I *can* make a colony from this save.
Edit: I tried Solver's mini-patch. No joy.
