When going for a cultural victory, is it better to choose a Civ that is Scientific/Religious for the bonuses in producing the cultural structures?

When it comes to culture, I do best playing the Egyptians. Might just be my playing style. Kind of gets tough to prevent an early golden age though.

I think Babyloniers are best for CV, because of their religious and scientific abilities.
